Afghanistan, 2021, just before the Taliban retakes power. Naru, the only female camera operator at a TV station in Kabul, fights to keep custody of her son. After leaving her chronically unfaithful husband, she has become convinced that there are no good men in her country. So she is caught off guard when an important TV journalist offers her a job. As they crisscross Kabul to report on the last days of freedom, sparks fly between them, and she begins to question her own conviction.
