Cook and share a meal with your neighbours.

In Tøyen, street parties and shared meals are a tradition. Nearby, there are communities growing food right in the city. This afternoon, you’re invited to help prepare a welcoming communal meal. We’ll provide the ingredients and equipment. We’ll set up work tables based on who comes and divide up the tasks. This isn’t about showing off your skills, but about getting to know one another, sharing traditions and stories, and above all, simply spending time together.

If the weather permits, we’ll prepare and eat the meal outdoors in the square; otherwise, we’ll be inside the hall. We have electric cooktops and a fire pit.
