Milonga Buenos Aires Style

A milonga is a dance party for tango. After the screening of Tango, a Buenos Aires-style milonga will be held at Lemongrass at Cinemateket.

The tables are arranged all around. You can expect an authentic milonga, with tango DJ Ina Eriksen playing the best tango songs. Oslo’s tango dancers will fill the floor as the night goes on.

It will be a journey to dark back streets and alleys, intimate confidences, dim streetlights, chains, bridges of glass, elves, crestfallen lovers, dandies and tricksters, red lips and razor-sharp stilettos.

If you don’t dance yourself, we invite you to take in the atmosphere with all your senses.

The event is free and open to everyone, even if you aren’t going to see the film.
