About the film: “J'accuse” (Norwegian title: “En offiser og spion”) is about the Dreyfus affair, which has been written about extensively for more than 130 years. The year is 1894, and France is shaken by one of history’s biggest judicial scandals when Jewish captain Alfred Dreyfus is convicted of espionage and treason, despite pleading not guilty. The film is directed by legendary filmmaker Roman Polanski, with Oscar-winning Jean Dujardin (“The Artist”) in the lead role. It is based on Robert Harris’s bestselling novel, which he also adapted for the screen with Polanski.
