A construction kit for making a synth

Welcome to a LittleBits workshop! This is a relaxed, hands-on workshop that requires no prior knowledge. LittleBits is a construction kit for making a synth.

LittleBits are small electronic building blocks that connect in chains to create sound and music. They make it easy for anyone to build small synths. You’ll also learn a little about how synths are put together. We’ll give a short introduction to how LittleBits works, and then you can try it out for yourself! No prior knowledge is needed for this workshop.

The workshop is divided into 3 sessions of 40 minutes each. We can accommodate 6 groups per session, and you can work in pairs. 1200-1240 1240-1320 1320-1400

Ane Bjerkan and Mari Lesteberg are leading the workshop. Both are artists and songwriters who run workshops in music and technology for children and young people. Together, they founded the organisation WoNoMute Young, which runs music workshops for young girls at Linderud in Oslo, and now also in Bydel Gamle Oslo.
