Litterært pusterom
A relaxed shared-reading session
Join a reading circle where you don’t need to have read anything in advance!
Drop-in. Please note: Maximum eight participants. First come, first served.
Meet at the information point/reception desk at 17:00, and the reading facilitator will show you to the room.
At Litterært pusterom, we read a new short story and a new poem each time. What we read is a surprise—it could be a classic or a more recent work of literature.
The reading facilitator chooses the text in advance and reads it aloud. We pause during the reading to reflect and talk about what we have read.
You’re welcome to simply listen to the conversation. You don’t need to have read anything, know a lot about literature or say anything clever to take part.
Come as you are.
Litterært pusterom is based on Shared Reading, developed in 1997 by literary scholar Jane Davis and The Reader Organisation in Liverpool, England. The method aims to make literature accessible and meaningful to everyone, regardless of social background or previous experience.
Welcome!
