How far would you go to achieve your dreams if everything you did to succeed only made you unhappy? A few intense years after her breakthrough, Maja (29) collapses. The acclaimed artist has to put her career and life on hold. Depressed and broke, she moves back in with her mother, who has found her a part-time job at a secondary school. Maja faces the harsh reality of everyday life and has to figure out what to do next. “Lave forventninger” is an emotional, intimate drama about how far you will go to achieve your dreams, especially when everything you do to succeed only makes you unhappy.
