Free manga drawing workshop for children aged 8–12
Do you like manga and anime? Would you like to learn how to draw your own characters? Join this free manga drawing workshop for children aged 8–12!
Join a creative manga drawing workshop where we’ll explore the exciting world of Japanese-inspired art! We’ll practise drawing anime eyes, facial expressions and faces, and you’ll get the chance to create your own character.
The workshop is for children who enjoy drawing, whether you’re a beginner or already have some drawing experience. You don’t need to be good at drawing already — the most important thing is that you want to give it a try!
Workshop leader Leona (13) loves drawing manga. This workshop is her contribution to Operasjon Dagsverk, which this year supports equal access to education in South Africa.
Here’s what we’ll do: ✏️ Learn simple techniques for drawing manga eyes and faces 🎭 Explore different facial expressions and emotions 🎨 Design our own manga character 💡 Get tips and guidance along the way
The workshop is for children aged 8–12. It’s free, and you don’t need to register. We’ll provide basic drawing supplies, but feel free to bring your own!
Venue: Deichman Grünerløkka, Schous plass 10, 0552 Oslo
