Konsert med Sidiki Camara group

Welcome to a concert with Sidiki Camara Group!

Experience a musical meeting where traditions from Mali blend with a modern sound. The internationally acclaimed percussionist Sidiki Camara joins jazz musicians in a collaboration shaped by folk melodies, improvisation and Manding music. He won the Spellemannsprisen in 2023 for his album «Return to the Traditions». Sidiki has been a central figure in Norwegian music for many years and is a very busy and popular musician.

Sidiki Camara Group consists of: Sidiki Camara on N’goni, percussion and vocals, Audun Erlien on bass and guitar, Eirik Askerøi on guitar, and Mattis Kleppen on bass.

We saw them at Nasjonalmuseet this spring and enjoyed them so much that we booked them for Kulturhavna.

On September 19, you can also experience Sidiki together with Tore Gjedrem, aka Ost, as the duo Djembe Tekno.
