Kodeklubben Level Up
A coding and robotics workshop for children
Get the robot moving! Learn to code with micro:bit
Have you heard of micro:bit? It’s a really cool mini-computer that fits in your pocket. We’ll connect them to our own Bitbot robots and program them to do exactly what we want.
For children aged 8 to 12.
Together, we’ll: 🤖 Build code: Teach the robot to drive, turn and stop. 💡 Create a light show: Program the LED lights to flash in patterns. 🏁 Compete: Can you code your robot through the maze faster than anyone else?
For adults: This is the perfect introduction to the world of technology. By combining coding with robotics (physical robots), the logic becomes immediately visible and easy for children to understand.
We use micro:bit and Bitbots, which are the industry standard for teaching children how hardware and software work together. This encourages curiosity, fine motor skills and logical thinking—all wrapped up in play and fun.
We recommend bringing your own laptop!
