Helvetes Indre Kretser, in collaboration with Høstsabbat and Parkteatret, presents the Danish trio KATLA at Parkteatret on Friday 18 December!

With the slogan «Kærlighed og Satan», KATLA has established itself as one of the most exciting names in modern doom in the Nordic region. The music is heavy, dark and hypnotic—a massive blend of sludge, post-rock and progressive doom, driven by crushing riffs, lumbering grooves and atmospheric soundscapes. Live, KATLA delivers a wall of sound that is both brutal and beautiful. Heavy riffs, monumental songs and intense energy make them one of the most captivating live bands on the Nordic metal scene right now.

Since their breakthrough and the release of their critically acclaimed debut album Scandinavian Pain on Napalm Records, KATLA has made its mark well beyond Denmark. The band has played festivals including Copenhell, Mystic Festival, Høstsabbat and Inferno Metal Festival, as well as touring extensively across Europe.

KATLA’s lyrics explore dark themes such as depression, shame, guilt, greed, the end of the world and religious manipulation. Yet their concerts are anything but bleak. KATLA is known for its warm stage presence, infectious good humour and unique ability to create a sense of community between band and audience—always under the banner of LOVE & SATAN.

ARV moves between metal, hardcore and post-metal, bringing together aggressive passages, heavy riffs, shifting tempos, and dark, atmospheric soundscapes. The music draws inspiration not only from the members’ Northern Norwegian roots and connection to the region, but also from current issues that no one really wants to face.

From the dark forests of Telemark comes KRAPYL, one of the most exciting new names in Norwegian black metal. With icy riffs, relentless blast beats and an intense stage presence, the band has quickly made a name for itself in the Nordic underground.

Following a very well-received performance at Denmark’s Gallows Metal Festival in 2026, KRAPYL has cemented its position as one of the new generation of Norwegian black metal bands. Audiences can expect a cold, brutal and uncompromising concert experience.
