Katarina Lien Trio//Kafé Hærverk

Katarina Lien Trio consists of Katarina Lien (vocals), Bård Helgerud (guitar) and Jens Fossum (bass). The three musicians share a love of melodic jazz and improvisational interplay. Bård Helgerud’s guitar playing is distinguished by melodic sensitivity, harmonic depth and a strong presence in the ensemble. As an improviser, he combines technical skill with a rare ability to listen closely to what is happening around him. Over many years, Jens Fossum has established himself as one of Norway’s most active and sought-after jazz bassists, known for his solid groove, musical flair and ability to lift any ensemble. The trio plays music rooted in the jazz tradition, creating an open and lively sound where melodies, improvisation and musical curiosity have equal space. Their interplay is marked by freedom, spontaneity and a joy in playing, while the open format of vocals, guitar and bass gives each musician plenty of room. Admission: 200 Doors: 19:00 Concert: 19:30
