Julenissens verksted

When nine-year-old Mari wakes one night to find a nisse in her bedroom, the beginning of an extraordinary Christmas adventure is set in motion. With a forgotten nisse mitten as their only clue, she, her grandmother and a very sceptical dad set off on an adventurous journey to find Santa Claus. But the mitten’s owner, Santa’s little helper Stompen, will do everything he can to stop them. Julenissens verksted must not be discovered — it would be a disaster! Their journey takes them through forests, uplands and beautiful winter landscapes. There are plenty of challenges too: they must get past the guardian of the forest, Kjerringa med staven, and battle their way through a terrible snowstorm. The journey is not only exciting; it also opens the family’s eyes to one another, and in the end they discover the true magic of Christmas. Get ready for this year’s Christmas film for the whole family, packed with festive spirit and familiar Thorbjørn Egner songs, including Kaptein Sorte Bill, Dyrene i Afrika and Det snør det snør, performed by some of Norway’s leading artists, including Sissel Kyrkjebø.
