Instruktorius
Lithuanian comedy film
«Instruktorius» is a comedy written by Dominykas Klajumas and Benas Lastauskas. It has a Hollywood style, without the typical traits often associated with Lithuanian cinema.
Martynas (Justinas Jankevičius) is an arrogant but kind-hearted man from Vilnius who loses his driving licence through recklessness and overconfidence. He does not take it very seriously and manages to anger his pregnant fiancée once again. She leaves him and goes back to her parents.
In an attempt to win her back, Martynas sets out on what initially seems like a fairly ordinary journey to get his driving licence back. Along the way, he meets Instruktorius (Dominykas Klajumas), a very unusual driving instructor from an equally unusual driving school.
For Martynas, getting his licence back becomes the biggest challenge of his life, guided by the decidedly crazy Instruktorius. He makes Martynas cry, laugh and blush with shame—but also realise one truth: getting a driving licence is difficult. Keeping your nerve is even harder!
