Hellbillies
A celebration of Norwegian music history
- Tickets available
A little piece of Norwegian music history at Sentrum Scene on Thursday 3 December!
Few artists have contributed as many songs to Norway’s musical heritage as Hellbillies. Eighteen albums, a string of hit songs and a lifetime of bringing music to every corner of the country.
Throughout their career, Hellbillies have been celebrated for their distinctive sound, rooted in a fusion of American and Norwegian musical traditions. The literary quality of their lyrics, combined with their musical heft, has inspired generations of artists who have followed in their footsteps.
They have received many accolades, from the Spellemannprisen honorary award and «Årets Spellemann» to honours from Noregs Mållag, Norsk Artistforbund, Prøysenprisen and Medaas-prisen, as well as rave reviews. Sold-out concert halls and an ever-growing audience, as new generations discover their catalogue, speak for themselves. This will be a grand celebration of a band that has long since made its mark on Norwegian cultural history, in a setting where the songs can truly shine.
Hellbillies are Aslag Haugen (vocals, guitars), Lars Haavard Haugen (guitars, vocals), Bjørn Gunnar Sando (drums), Egil Stemkens (bass), Lars Christian Narum (keyboards) and Atle Aamodt (percussion).
