Hein Westgaard Trio//Kafé Hærverk

Hein Westgaard Trio play their own distinctive form of experimental music. They are inspired by free improvisation and jazz, as well as country, rock, folk and classical music. The trio brings all these elements together in a unique style, blurring the line between composition and improvisation. Their debut album, "First as Farce", was released to glowing reviews in 2023 and was named one of the year's five strongest debut albums by The New York Jazz Record. This was followed by a tour of Northern Europe, with concerts in Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Latvia, Lithuania, Germany, Poland and the Faroe Islands.
