Green Day på Kringla: Gratis fiksefest 🛠️💚

Have clothes that need repairing, or electronics that aren’t working? Join us for a repair event and learn how to fix your things ♻️ We’ll also serve coffee and waffles 🧇☕

🗓️ On 28. november, SiO invites you to Green Day på Kringla, with workshops and activities in collaboration with Relove, Restarters, Grønt kontor, ReStore-brukthjørnet and Hånadarbeidsstudentene. Choose the workshop that’s right for you👇

⏰ 11:00–13:00: Clothing repairs with Relove 👕 Do you have clothes that need a little care? Bring them along and learn some simple repairs. We have sewing machines and sewing supplies. Bring your own zipper if needed.

⏰11.00-16.00: Make a green gift voucher with Grønt Kontor 🌱 Give someone you care about your time and a good experience. Make a personal gift voucher together with Grønt Kontor.

⏰13:00–14:00: Knitting and crochet meet-up with Håndarbeidsstudentene🧶 Bring your handiwork, or try something new with other students. We’ll have some yarn and knitting supplies, while stocks last.

⏰ 14:00–16:00: Small electronics repairs with Restarters 💻 Bring electronics that aren’t working and get help checking whether they can be repaired. Remember to bring chargers and any other necessary accessories.

You can bring, among other things: 💻 PCs, mobile phones and computer equipment 🎮 Game consoles and controllers 🎸 Musical instruments and effects pedals 🔊 Speakers, record players and radios 📱 Charging cables

We don’t repair microwaves or household appliances.

Practical information ☕ Coffee and waffles will be served throughout the day. ♻️ A carpentry tent will be set up outside, where you can learn to build and repair simple things. 🍲 Hot food at 16.00 for the first 100 students who have taken part in a workshop. 👥 There’s room for around 100 students, so come early to secure your place. 📝 When you arrive, register the item you want to repair. 🔧 You must stay for the entire repair. 📦 We’ll help with one item at a time. 🛠️ You’ll need to bring your own spare parts.
