The controversial artist Anna Odell was not invited when her middle school class planned to celebrate its 20-year reunion. In Gjenforeningen, she imagines what her former classmates feared might happen if she had attended the party. Afterwards, she invites her former class to a screening of the film. Odell plays herself, while actors portray her classmates in a script based on actual encounters.
