Gammal Maiden livepod med Backstreet Girls

What is it like to become the vocalist of your favorite band?

In 2026, a new chapter was written for Backstreet Girls. Roar Leren has joined as the new vocalist, following the passing of Bjørn Müller in 2024. This evening, Leren and guitarist Petter Baarli will share the story of the search for the band’s new vocalist, and the recording and release of a new album. With 'Full Tilt Boogie', the band is ready to meet its fans with renewed energy and enthusiasm.

The podcast "Gammal Maiden" is a portrait series exploring its guests’ relationship with Iron Maiden in particular and music in general. It is hosted by Torkil Torsvik, a presenter on Radio Rock and vocalist in the band Nullskattesnylterne. Hear stories about 80s rock, posters, jacket patches and cassettes, and take a nostalgic trip you may well recognize yourself in.
