Winner of the Golden Bear at the 2026 Berlinale! Derya and Aziz are a famous theatre couple in Ankara who are labelled political dissidents. Both receive the feared «yellow letter» and lose their jobs and their place in public life. As state persecution intensifies, their marriage and their relationship with their teenage daughter are pushed to breaking point.
With this drama, German-Turkish director İlker Çatak follows up on his Oscar-nominated Lærerværelset.
