For this family Saturday, we’re welcoming author Mariko Miyata-Jancey, who will read from her latest picture book, Mieko på dansecamp.

Mieko is going to dance camp and is looking forward to dancing and staying overnight. But things don’t quite turn out as she imagined. Why does her best friend Sofia say that Mariama can put her sleeping mat next to theirs? Mieko and Sofia were supposed to sleep next to each other. And why can’t Dad ever learn the difference between L and R? It’s not actually called “sausage in your bum”!
