A fascinating hybrid film about truth, lies and identity.
By chance, single mother Amanda is introduced to Casper. He has a complicated relationship with his family, one of the wealthiest in Denmark. They fall in love, and Amanda is soon drawn into a series of bizarre events, only to discover that Casper is a notorious con artist.
In this film, Amanda reconstructs the events at the places where they actually happened, while she and director Nicole Nielsen Horanyi reflect on themes such as identity, communication, manipulation and truth.
By allowing reality and staged scenes to blur into one another, the film takes on a form that echoes Casper’s modus operandi.
