Dragged Into Sunlight
Extreme metal concert
- Tickets available
The British extreme metal band Dragged Into Sunlight comes to John Dee on 12 May! To complete the evening, they’ll be joined by Mizmor and This Gift is a Curse.
Dragged Into Sunlight was formed in 2006 and is known for deliberately keeping the members’ identities hidden. They wear balaclavas in press photos and perform with their backs to the audience. The band’s concerts are intense and uncompromising, and their music draws inspiration from all the major subgenres of extreme metal.
Their debut album, *Hatred for Mankind* (2009), was produced by acclaimed producer Billy Anderson. Its follow-up, *Widowmaker* (2012), consists of one continuous 40-minute track and received very positive reviews from the music press.
