De Staat

De Staat are coming to Oslo and John Dee on 1 April! They have established themselves as one of Europe’s most innovative and uncompromising live bands, continually pushing the boundaries of what a rock band can be.

They are currently presenting the long-awaited self-titled album, art installation and live show De Staat Becomes De Staat. The project marks almost 25 years of boundary-pushing work in art rock.

Their music ranges from industrial grooves and heavy riffs to experimental electronica and catchy pop. It has been featured in international campaigns and games, and the band has received Edison Awards, 3FM Awards, several music video awards and a Bernays Lifetime Achievement Award, as well as widespread international critical acclaim.

De Staat have played at some of the world’s biggest festivals and toured with bands such as The Rolling Stones, Muse and Biffy Clyro.
