DangerFest — DANGERFACE’s 10th-anniversary mini-festival

Date Saturday 14. November
Time 18:00

Who are DANGERFACE? A musical punch straight to the face! Stavanger band DANGERFACE are turning 10 and celebrating with a mini-festival. DangerFest is a full evening of four wild bands at Parkteatret on Saturday 14 November. You already know enough to buy a ticket.

After winning over listeners, reviewers and audiences with their first two full-length albums — «Get Loud!» (2019) and «Be Damned!» (2023) — and their hard-hitting live shows (including at Trondheim Calling, by:Larm and 2000 Trees Festival in the UK), DANGERFACE are back — harder and more energetic than ever, with a brand-new live show and the singles «Kill Hallelujah!» and «Vipers in the Well» (with more on the way)!

As PUNKNEWS.ORG puts it so nicely:

«I FUCKING LOVE IT WHEN SOMETHING COMES OUT OF NOWHERE LIKE THIS AND JUST SLAPS YOUR TEETH DOWN YOUR THROAT!»

In other words, this is an experience you won’t want to miss!

First up is none other than FAENIHÆLVETTE!

Since their debut in 2019, the hardcore band have become a favourite among many in Norway’s punk scene. Why? No one knows for sure, but the band have certainly made their mark with lyrics that are as humorous as they are political, and riffs that hit as hard as a vaccine that leaves your shoulder sore.

FAENIHÆLVETTE’s songwriting gets straight to the point and doesn’t take itself too seriously — even if perhaps they should have thought twice before releasing their music. They didn’t, and the result is that they have become one of Norway’s most popular hardcore punk bands. Still, expect much more than just punk if you go to a FAENIHÆLVETTE concert: their discography also features flashes of black metal, grindcore and jazz. A combination as satisfying as a punch to the solar plexus!

FAENIHÆLVETTE kick off DangerFest with a bang!

Forgetaboutit deliver explosive live performances and have been labelled one of the tightest bands in the country. Together, they play fast, melodic and hard-hitting ’90s-inspired punk rock that will hit fans of Bad Religion, Millencolin and NOFX right in the heart!

In 2026, Forgetaboutit released their second album, «Orchestrated World», celebrated it in style at John Dee, toured around the country and, not least, warmed up a packed Rockefeller for their worst friends, Pappasaft.

To complete the line-up and the evening, PAPPASAFT are joining the birthday celebrations, just as good friends should!

Are they bringing a gift? Naturally. To mark Dangerface’s 10th anniversary, Pappasaft will perform their (almost) 10-year-old album «I Verste Velgående» in its entirety at DangerFest. For the very first time, and perhaps the only time! In May, the band stopped by Rockefeller for a quick, small, nearly sold-out show. Now they’re returning to Parkteatret, a venue they know well. They have sold it out twice before, so their track record speaks for itself.

The trio have been going since 2010, playing hard, melodic music in Norwegian, and have consistently refused to become more popular than strictly necessary. They call their genre «gla'core», which roughly means “angry, but in a cosy way”.
