BORIS want to celebrate 20 pink years with you and your friends! BORIS formed in 1992, but it took them four years to shake off their early struggles. In 1996, the band was once again Takeshi, Wata and Atsuo—the same lineup they have today.

With their unruly force, they have since explored the perhaps not entirely academic musical concepts of Heavy and Heavyness. There’s no doubt they’ve dug deep into the subject.

Over 30 years of hard-hitting rock, Boris’s idea of heaviness has taken many different forms and genres. People often say bands are hard to define, but in this case, it really is quite difficult: the trio moves with ease between doom and sludge metal, psych and blues rock, drone and noise rock. Yes, even J-pop! Or simply pure noise. These days, it’s easy to swipe “yes to both”. In any case, we’re ready with open arms.

But we’re fairly sure what we’ll be treated to this time. It’s the 20th anniversary of the band’s greatest success. In 2006, they stormed into the hearts of critics and fans with the album «PINK». A pink whirlwind of an album, combining total chaos with melody.

In other words, this is a rare and soul-stirring experience. Something truly unique for all the senses.
