Beth Orton

British singer-songwriter Beth Orton comes to Oslo and John Dee on Saturday 27 February. She is known for combining elements of folk and electronica to create her own distinctive “folktronica”. She is currently promoting her critically acclaimed album The Ground Above.

Beth Orton had her big breakthrough in the mid-90s, when she collaborated with artists such as William Orbit, The Chemical Brothers and Red Snapper. These collaborations marked the beginning of an impressive solo career, with albums including Trailer Park (1996), Central Reservation (1999) and Daybreaker (2002).

18+ age limit. Valid ID is required. No guardian scheme. Valid ID must be a physical national ID card, passport, physical driving licence or bank card with a photo. Digital ID (digital driving licence or BankID) and photos of ID are not accepted.

Doors open at 19.00. The event starts approximately one hour after doors open. Please arrive well in advance of the start time, as there may be queues.
