BamseScenen presenterer: A Big Bold Bear Xmas!

A festive Christmas concert from BamseScenen

Date Monday 14. December
Time 18:00

Bamsescenen presents: A Big Bold Bear Xmas. There’s no Pride Christmas without BamseScenen from Oslo Pride Park! BamseScenen and Chateau Neuf invite you to a rather different Christmas concert: A Big Bold Bear Xmas! You may be wondering: is another Christmas concert really necessary? Our answer is yes. Because A Big Bold Bear Xmas offers a whole palette of styles. We give familiar songs colours and expressions you might not expect, and sing songs you may never have associated with Christmas before. “O Helga Natt” in the style of Dolly Parton? Julekveldsvisa with electric guitar, bass and drums? A completely new musical take on “Glade Jul” and “Santa Baby”? Our four wonderful soloists and musical quartet will surprise you with their creativity. So if you want to hear Last Christmas for the hundredth time this year, you should look elsewhere. But if you want to experience a different, warm and fun Christmas concert, this is the one for you!

Soloists: Jannike Kruse has appeared in numerous theatre productions and musicals, acted in several TV series and films, taken part in a number of Radio Theatre productions, and provided Norwegian voices for many animated characters. She has sung with various orchestras in Norway and abroad, and appeared on numerous albums. Jannike has also produced the show concerts Musical Stories and Leading Ladies, in which she performs, and which continue to be staged around the country.

She has been part of the Broadway Backwards ensemble since 2016, and is delighted to help welcome in Christmas with Oslo Pride and Bamsescenen.

He has appeared in numerous theatre and musical productions, including as Jean Valjean in “Les Misérables”, Judas in “Jesus Christ Superstar” and Tevye in “Spellemann på taket”, and has been a soloist with several symphony orchestras.
