Avind // Release: Livet havet apatien // Parksalongen

// Avind // After four albums, perhaps it’s not that the world looks different, but that you see it a little differently. When I asked Avind what had really changed since their first record, they didn’t talk about genres or sound. They talked about not feeling the need to follow musical trends. About doing what works, song by song. About trusting their own instincts more. You can hear it in the lyrics, too. Tonje says they often begin with a situation, a feeling or a place. Something that sticks and stays long enough that it has to be written down. She summed up their entire lyrical universe in one sentence: “I’m just trying to write something beautiful about completely ordinary things.” Simple and difficult at the same time. But perhaps that’s exactly why it works. They rarely hurry towards big conclusions. They stay a little longer with the observation. A glance across a dance floor. The wind. The sea. Someone standing a little too close. Someone walking by. - Øyvind Rones Avind made their debut in 2015 with the EP Stummande mørke, and have previously released the albums “Evig blenda” (2018), “Ta sjansen” (2021) and “Stiller altfor mange krav” (2023). “Livet havet apatien” comes out on 13 November 2026. It’s time for the release show, and we’re really looking forward to it! // CC 270inkl.bill.avg. ID 20 Doors at 19:00
