Åpning av Deichman Annualen 2026!!

Deichman Annualen 2026 opens on 17. november. Meet the four artists selected from more than 160 applicants and join them for a guided tour of the exhibition.

Deichman Annualen 2026 presents works by four Oslo-based artists: Anna Sofie Mathiasen, Enrique Roura, Maren Dagny Juell and Rhea Kropp. Their art is spread throughout the library in dedicated areas or niches. Together, they form a group exhibition where personal experiences meet society’s expectations, norms and structures.

The artworks also share an immediacy that rises above the lively chaos of the public library and demands attention. They also invite visitors to delve into complex topics such as gardening as therapy, the material traces we leave behind, the regulation of social media—and shameless female sexuality. The exhibition extends from the 1st to the 4th floor of the library and presents a total of eight works in eight areas. The exhibition is on view from 17.11.25 - 04.04.27.

The stage programme lasts approximately 45 minutes and includes a conversation with the four artists, followed by a guided tour of the exhibition with both curators and artists. The opening takes place at Musikkscenen on the 3rd floor of the library.
