Apes&Babes from Trondheim—Norway’s most electrifying vocal group—offer an eight-voice experience of ensemble singing, harmony and stage presence.

The group consists of eight singers who have been a fixture on Norway’s a cappella scene for a quarter of a century. Their arrangements have been developed through play and exploration of the voice’s many possibilities. This has given Apes&Babes a distinctive sound, with energy, humour and goosebump-inducing moments as key ingredients. This year, Apes&Babes are getting ready for Christmas with a short pre-Christmas tour. The repertoire spans a wide range of styles, drawing inspiration from pop, jazz, folk music and world music. There are sure to be a few hints of winter and Christmas, including the thoroughly festive Christmas song and Tramteateret’s much-loved classic Snø.
