- Tickets available
Iron Maiden’s legendary drummer Nicko McBrain comes to Rockefeller on 9 November to share stories from an extraordinary life!
Following the recent announcement of Hello Boys and Girls!, Nicko McBrain’s exciting, funny and deeply personal autobiography, launching on 22 October, the much-loved drummer is now hitting the road with a very special spoken-word show.
With stories from behind the drum kit in one of the greatest bands in British history, along with experiences from a remarkable youth, triumphs at the top and the toughest setbacks, audiences will have a unique opportunity to get up close with one of rock history’s most iconic and admired figures.
With his powerful and brilliant drumming style—full of energy, character and technical finesse—and a charismatic stage presence, Nicko became a metal legend and a central part of the development of Iron Maiden’s unique and dynamic sound during his 42 years in the band.
As the drummer on 14 studio albums, numerous live releases and countless world tours, Nicko, together with Iron Maiden, has sold over 100 million albums worldwide and secured his place in rock history forever.
“It’s been a real honour to write my very own autobiography and have the chance to walk down memory lane, revisiting all the experiences that have made me who I am and brought me to where I am today. And I’m thrilled and delighted to be taking those stories on the road and share them all with you. I feel truly blessed to be able to say ‘Hello Boys And Girls’ to you all in person later this year. We’re going to have a lot of fun together, so come and join me for a great night out. I’ve got a LOT of stories I want to tell you all!” – Nicko McBrain
