15 km til fots + vafler: Sørkedalen → Sognsvann 🍁🌤️
Oslomarka refers to the forested areas surrounding Oslo.
NMHs Turforening invites all SiO students and their friends on a Sunday hike in Oslomarka, the forested areas around Oslo!
The hike is 15 km long and not for beginners, but manageable if you go for a walk now and then.
Meet outside NMH at 11:00. We’ll take the metro to Røa at 1109 or 1124 so we can catch bus 41 from Røa to Sørkedalen skole.
From Sørkedalen, the trail climbs steeply towards Finnerud. We’ll continue to Kobberhaughytta (435 m above sea level), where we’ll take a well-earned break and enjoy the lovely views over parts of Bærumsmarka and Oslomarka. Waffles are on us 🧇🧇
After lunch, we’ll head southeast and follow the trail down towards Ullevålseter, where we’ll take another break. Then there’s just one short final stretch down to Sognsvann.
We’ll be back at Sognsvann at around five.
